WSU-Pullman Public Comment Period: May 10 - June 9, 2022

This is a 30-day public comment period for the review of Washington State University’s (Pullman) draft permit and technical support documents.


WSU has Steam Plants, an animal feed plant and research seed plant, as well as other sources. WSU proposed to take voluntary limits at its Grimes Way Steam Plant, existing Animal Feed Plant and Research Seed Plant to bring the facility’s emissions below Title V air operating permit thresholds. There are no new emission sources or increases in emissions from previous permits. We determined this proposal satisfies the requirements of Chapter 173-400 of the Washington Administrative Code. We plan to approve this project. We will hold a public hearing if there is significant public interest.
